TREEHOUSE

Treehouse is a 3D animated film exploring themes of nature and artificiality, and the relationship between self and otherness. Inspired by reflections during my gap year, I examined contradictions between ideals and reality, aiming to spark discussions on true freedom.

​

The script was influenced by Calvino’s The Baron in the Trees. The story of Cosimo, who seeks meaning amidst confusion and nihilism, resonated with my introspection and difficult decisions. Each step of this stylized 3D animation, from storyboarding to post-production, was meticulously crafted to achieve a polished aesthetic.​​
